Analysis of Hybrid Meander Structures with Additional Shields

Models of hybrid meander structures with additional shields are presented in this paper. The influence and their grounding positions on the electromagnetic characteristics was investigated. Three-dimensional models were created analyzed using method moments (MoM) Sonnet® finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) CST Microwave Studio® commercial software packages. computer-based modeling verified by physical experiment. analysis showed that it is possible to control delay time characteristic different values lumped inductive elements without need change overall size structure. varied 1.2 ns range 1.3 2.5 when inductivity changed from 1 nH 10 our investigation. On other hand, passband decreased 2.384 GHz 0.508 GHz. allowed for increasing up 1.6%.
